In the Name of God Amen I Celia Tynes of the County of Isle of Wight being in perfect sense & memory but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life & considering it is appointed for all Women to die I have thought proper to make & ordain this to be my last Will and testament in manner & form as falloweth first it is my Will & desire that all my Debts & funeral expences should be paid. Item I give & bequeath unto my son West Tynes all my Coopers tools & one Cow & one Jugg. Item I give & bequeath unto my son Benjamen Tynes half my Stock and two large Potts one Dish & two plates. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Tynes one Horse called Janus one side Saddle one square Cedar table one Purple bed Cover one green Rug one half of my Cattle one Corner Cupboard three Walnut Chairs one Pott & one large Bason and all the rest of my Pewter one Jugg. Item I give & bequeath unto my two sons Thomas Tynes & Benjamen Tynes the use of my Cross Cut Saw, Item I Give and bequeath unto my Grandaughter Holland Lawrence one bed. Item I Give and bequeath unto my Grandaughter Celie Lawrence one bed, And I Give and bequeath unto my two Grandaughters Holland Lawrence and Celie Lawrence all the Rest of my Estate to be Equally Divided between them And I do Appoint my two sons West Tynes and Thomas Tynes my wholey & Sole Extors to this my last will & testament in Witness where of I have hereunto sit my hand & fix't my This twentieth Day of April 1778. Celia her X mark Tynes Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of John Holloday Nathaniel Vellines At a Court held for Isle of Wight County February the 7th 1782 This Will was presented in Court by West Tynes the Exor therein named who made Oath thereto according to Law and the same being Proved by the Oath of John Holliday the witness thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the Said executor who together with Benjamen Tynes his Security have entered into & acknowledged their bond in the penalty of five hundred Pounds current money with condition as the law directs certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form.
