I John UZZELL of the county of Isle of Wight and State of Virginia, being sick but of perfect mind and memory, do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows ~ Item I give and bequeath unto my wife Nancy UZZELL the land and Plantation whereon I now live to her and her heirs forever I also give unto my said wife Nancy after the payment of my Just debts all the remainder of my estate to her and her heirs forever lastly I do Surely nominate my wife Nancy UZZELL hole and Sole executrix to this my last will and testament as witness my hand and Seal this 19.th day of March 1815- John UZZELL *seal* Signed Sealed & ackn. in the presence of Woddoss DICK William WHITLEY X his mark [page break] [p] 468 At a Court held for Isle of Wight county the 4th day of April 1815 This Will was presented in court by Nancy UZZELL the executrix therein named and the same being proved by the oaths of Woddross DUCK and Arthur FOWLER the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded- And time is attained the said executrix to qualify to the said Will when she may think proper- At a court held for the said county the 5th day of June 1815 on the motion of the said Nancy UZZELL executrix as aforesaid and together with Francis M.
