ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, VA - WILLS - John Wrenn, 14 Apr 1752 ----€€€---- In the Name of God, Amen. I John Wrenn of Newport Parish in the County of Isle of Wight in Virga being very sick and weak but in perfect mind and Memory Blessed be God for it. I do hereby make and ordain this my Will and Testament this 14 Day of April 1752 in manner and Form following (Vizt) I Commit myself into the hands of Almighty God my Creator believing through the meritts of my Blessed Savior Jesus Christ to obtain Everlasting Life and as for my worldly Estate where with it has Pleased God to Bless me I do give and Bequeath as followeth, Imprimis. I do give unto my son John Wrenn the following Negro (Vizt) Frank my Still my Pistols & Holsters Carbine & Sword,- Item. I do give my Negro Woman Joyce and her Increase to be Equally Divided between my two Daughters Elizabeth and Sally when they come to age Item. I give my Negro Boy Abram unto my Daughter Martha. Item I do Lend unto my beloved Wife, Mary in order to help toward Her & my Youngest Childrens Maintainance my Negro Fellow Peter and Harry and after her Death, I do give the said two Negros to be Equally Shard between my four Children, John, Martha Elizabeth & Sally. Item. The rest of my Estate I do give to be Equally Divided between my Wife and my four Children exception a Bay Filly, I have already given to my son John It is also my Desire that my son John be at age at the Age of Eighteen Nevertheless If his Uncle Joseph Wrenn shall Percieve that he takes to any Ill- Courses I then desire he may be bound out, I also do ordain & Constitute my son John Wrenn and Joseph Wrenn to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
