ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, VA - WILLS - Josiah Wrenn, 20 Feb 1800 ----¤¤¤---- Isle of Wight Co. VA Deeds, etc. Bk. 18, pgs 379-380 FHLC #32009 In the name of God amen I Josiah Wrenn of Isle of Wight County am in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as follows Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Barlow the Plantation whereon she now lives, also Negroes, Lew, Jenny, and her youngest child and their increase, also one hundred pounds Cash and all the property she now has in possession to her and her heirs forever ---- Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Francis Wrenn the Plantation called five ashes, one horse called ball one Mahogany buffet, Negroes Benn, Celia, Judah, Tom George & John and their increase, also five hundred pounds cash, to him and his heirs forever. It is my Will and desire that the said Son Francis Wrenn shall take possession of his property as above mentioned in December next ---- Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Josiah Wrenn the plantation whereon I now live & the plantation called Crawleys, my Mahogany Table one Still worm 4 Bags?, Negroes Peter, Lucy, and youngest child, Esther, Mary and their increase and Nalt, Also five hundred pounds cash to him and his heirs forever ---- Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Patsey Wrenn on side Saddle, Negroes, Sam, Anerqua, Sally Violet Charlotte, and bob and their increase, Also five hundred pounds cash to her and her heirs forever -- Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betsey Wrenn, Negroes, Amy and two Children (say) Charlotte and Dick Patience Isaac and Henry and their increase also five hundred pounds cash to her and her heirs forever ---- Item It is my Will and desire that Richard Peirce shall keep all the property that he is now in possession of to him and his heirs forever --- It is also my Will and desire that the residue of my Estate to be equally divided between all my Children Sarah Francis, Josiah Patsey and Betsey -- I do appoint Richard Peirce and John Barlow my whole & Sole Executors to this my last Will and Testament as above Witness my hand & Seal this twentieth day of February one thousand eight hundred ---------- Signed Sealed & delivered in presence of --------- Josiah Wrenn (Seal) Joseph Carrell her Mary x Carrell mark At a Court held for Isle of Wight County the 7th day of April 1800.
