DURFEY This deed made the 14th day of October A.D,, 1854, between Richard BASSETT of the one part, and Wilson C. DURFEY of the other part; Witnesseth, these (or this) in consideration of Eight hundred dollars, the said Richard BASSETT doth grant unto the said Wilson C. DURFEY, the certain lot or parcel of land, with appurtenances, lying in the county of James City, adjoining the City of Williamsburg, containing three quarters of an acre, more or less, and bounded as follows, on the North by the road leading from the City & Williamsburg to the College Mill, on the East by the Street from the College Gate running South, on the same lot of land deeded by the said Samuel W. BOWMAN and wife of the said Richard BASSETT on the 13th day of October A.D. 1854 and the title to the said land the said R. BASSETTdoth warrant both generally and specially.
