The wills and administrations of Northampton Co (1632-1802) have all been abstracted and there are no references to BROADUSS or BROADDUS. Will of William BROADUSS of James City Co VA: Wife - Lydia BROADUSS, executrix. To son Benjamin BROADUSS - plantation whereon I now live; land begining at the mouth of Spring Branch, to the main road to the school house, to Wm Bayly's line, to Powhatan Swamp (except land where school house now stands; use of firewood off my land for school house forever). To son William BROADUSS - at age of 18 years land where Lawrence Usher now lives. All that land between the road that leads between Colonel Ludwell's mill and Powhatan Mill; all that land between that road and the line of Mr. Benj'a Egglestone's and mine (except 1 a. for the use of the mill). To son Abraham BROADUSS - at age of 18 years all my land beyond the main road and all that I have beyond Drinking Swamp Branch expressed in my patent. To son Thomas BROADUSS - at age 18 years all that land between the bounds of son Benj'a's land and the bounds of son William's land called Persoy Hill.
