The subscriber respectfully informs the public in general and his friends in particular, that he has recommenced the above business at the corner house lately occupied as a store by Davenport & Willett, in Charles Town. He returns his sincere thanks to former customers for past favors, and solicits a renewal of their patronage. He constantly keeps ready made a complete assortment of Nails, Flooring, Brads, Sprigs, &c. which will be sold on the lowest terms, for cash. GEORGE WARK." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "PUBLIC SALE. WILL be sold at Public Sale on Tuesday the 6th of December next, at Mount Zoar, about 3 miles from Charlestown, all the personal property of rev. Christopher Collins, deceased, consisting of Horses, Cows, Sheep, Hogs, Household and Kitchen Furniture, farming Utensils, one hundred barrels of Corn, several Negroes, and some Books. -- Also, on the Saturday following, will be sold at the farm of the said deceased, on Opeckon, near Mr. Vanmeter's, about 200 barrels of Corn and some Hay. Nine months credit will be given, the purchaser giving bond with approved security. The sale will commence early in the day. All persons having claims against the said deceased, are requested to bring them in for settlement. THO. HAMMOND, Admin'r.
