Gaskins Detachment appears to have been disabled in such a manner while in the service of the Commonwealth as to entitle him to the sum of 12 pounds yearly; which allowance is accordingly made him, commencing on the first day of January 1786. Given under my hand at Richmond this 5th day of January 1787. Signed: P. Henry Examination by Wm. Foushes states that a wound in the right arm fractured considerably so as to disable Taylor and resulted in his being discharged by Col. Davis. ***--writing extremely small and hard to read.
