John's pension # 22561 and so#3575. I don't know Wm. In john's records he said he was subing for Wm. John was in for Jan 1, 1814 to Apr. 16, 1814. He was also in Boyds co. , 9th reg. virginia militia. abt. Aug. 1, 1814. Wm. was in Capt Rithchies/rowzees abt. Sept. 1814. Because John was substituting for Wm. could that mean that he was injured? Also, that could mean that he was in capt. Richard rowzee's regt. before John. that would mean he was in the war in late 1813. Additional Comments: I believe John mustard in at Essex co., and was discharged at Norfolk. From Capt. Boyds he mustard in at King and Queen Court house and was discharged either at Green leaf Point, Maryland or Wasington, DC. I don't know where his brother Wm. was drafted in the war. Since he was in with Capt. Rowzee he might of mustard in same place as John, Essex, Va. John lived in Essex for abt. 1 year after the war and is said to have been born there.
