King George County, Virginia DATE: (blank) OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: Grymes' Cemetery is located east of Monchain house on a hill near some large oak trees. This cemetery is enclosed in a wire fence. There is quite a bit of undergrowth in this cemetery. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Several of the stones have been broken into small pieces so they cannot be put together in order to read the inscriptions. The following inscriptions were copied from the stones: Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Mary Louise Quisenberry who departed her life with the full hope of a blessed immortality, on the 28th of September, 1843, in the 24th year of her age Large stone with the following names: George N. Grymes October 9, 1785 November 15, 1853 Ann Mason Grymes April 1, 1791 November 5, 1864 Rosalie L. Grymes March 15, 1828 December 25, 1870 To the memory of my beloved child Medora E.
