King George County, Virginia DATE: The earliest date on the stone is 1822. OWNERS: None. DESCRIPTION: Hooe’s cemetery is located south of the house in a grove of large trees. It is not kept very good. Not all the graves have markers, there was one marker the inscription was not readable. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Elizabeth Barnes Hooe departed this life March 25, 1827 Aged 42 John Tallaferro Hooe departed this life April 2_, 1822 Aged 48 years Emilie R.
