King George County, Virginia DATE: 1833 to 1860. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: It is a large cemetery and is nicely kept. Not many old stones prior to 1860. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Inscriptions as follows: In Memory of Joseph Parker son of Rev. Joseph H. and Sarah E. Russel died June 3d, 1853 Aged 5 days Of such is the kingdom of Heaven James Man Dyke Stewart Aged 4 years Edmond Lee Stewart Aged 6 years Sacred to the Memory of our Beloved Father Henry T. Washington born at Spy Hill, King George County, Virginia January 18, 1802 died at Windsor, June 10, 1855 After a lingering illness which he bore with submission to the will of him who doth all things well. “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give your rest.” Matthew XI: 28 verse.
