King George County, Virginia DATE: 1847. OWNERS: Unknown. DESCRIPTION: This cemetery is not very well kept. There are quite a number of graves but only a few markers. The following inscriptions were copied from the stones: To the memory of Charles Tayloe born 15th February, 1810 died 11th November, 1847 St. John XI, 25 Our Charles A go – maker – (All of this inscription could not be read) In memory of Alice A. Taylor wife of Dr. F.M. Lewis born April 5, 1837 died February 12, 1862 In my hands no price I bring simple to the cross I cling. In memory of Rosalie V. wife of W.L. Waring born December 10, 1833 died February 15, 1872 Asleep in Jesus Thomas R. Waring born in Essex County, Virginia died Oaken Brow, December 12, 1880 Thy will be done.
