                    Route #3, thence 2.4 miles south on Route #610, thence .9 
                    mile northwest on Route #607, thence 1 mile north on a 
                    private road, and .2 of a mile west of house.
                    King George County, Virginia

DESCRIPTION:

Tayloe’s Cemetery is located on a portion of the estate known as Powhatan.  It 
is enclosed with a nice iron fence and is well kept.  All the graves have 
markers.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:


Ella Fowle Tayloe
born September 10, 1860
died October 21, 1865
There angels do always behold the face of my father which is
in heaven, then eyes which your tears flow down and your heart
be sorely win.  There’s another gem in the Savior crown and
there another soul in heaven.


Bladen Tasker Tayloe
born May 25, 1836
died in service for his country
and Captain of the 30th. Virginia Infantry,
January 27, 1862
