GEORGE STROTHER 
of Virginia

   George Strother applied for revolutionary pension while living in King George
County, Va. He enlisted in King George County and served in Virginia militia
under Captain Francis Conway and Colonel Skinner He served until April 9, 1781,
at which time he was injured by a gun shot wound in his left shoulder and unable
to serve longer. He was born in King George County in 1760 and drew pension in
that county. There are no data regarding his family.
