Williams 1/28/1856-11/26/1929 The Free Lance Star 12/3/1929 Funeral services for the late Alfred Williams were held Thursday at 2pm at Fletchers Chapel conducted by the pastor Rev. Ira Austin before a large congregation of friends and relatives. The services were impressive and the floral offerings were beautiful. The remains were buried in the church cemetary by the side of the wife of the deceased. The pallbearers were active, James Allen, Horace Clift, Eddie Henderson, Gusty Anderson, Alex Dodd, Robert Henderson, Gordon Henderson; honary Messrs. Amos Henderson, Gordon Jones, Ashton Jones, Addison Henderson, Gusty Henderson, Asbury Henderson. The services at the grave were in charge of the Passapatanzy Council No. 25, O.F.A. of which the deceased was a charter member.
