In the Name of God Amen I Rawleigh Everitt of the County of Lancaster
being Sick and weak of Body but of Sound and Perfect mind and Memory
Thanks be to God do make this my Last will and Testament.  And first I
Bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my
Body to the Ground from whence it was Taken and as for my Worldly Estate
I do Dispose of as Followeth  Imprimiss it is my will that my Estate be
kept Together till my youngest child comes to the age of ten years or
till my son Simmonds Shall arrive at the age of Twenty one years  Here I
give to my son Simmonds Everitt my Negro boy Daniel to him and his heirs
forever.  My said son to be Possessed with the said Negro when he shall
arrive To the age of Twenty one years  Here my will is that at the time
appointed for my Son Simmonds to be Possessed with the said Negro that
the Rest of my Estate be Equally Divided among my Loving wife and my
three sons Leeroy John and William Everitt  Reserving that if the said
Negro should die Before my said son Simmonds should be Possessed with
him my will is that my said son Simmonds Shall have an Equal share of my
Estate with his mother and his Brothers and I do nominate and appoint my
Loving wife Sarah and Harry Carter and John Everitt Executors of this my
Last will and Testament  In Witness whereof I have Hereunto set my hand
and Seal this Twenty Ninth Day of December In the year of our Lord 1756

At a Court held for Lancaster County on the 20th Day of May 1757  This
will was Proved in open Court by the oath of William Sanders and Edward
Sanders and ordered to be recorded
