Deed Bk 11 pg 255 This Indenture of bargain and Sale made and concluded upon this the 25th day of April in the year of Christ 1851 by and between Benjamin Dickenson of the county of Lee and State of Virginia on the one part and Leroy Kirk of the county and State aforesaid and Michael Cole of the county Claiborne State of Tennsssee of the other part witnessth whereas the said Benhjamin Dickinson hath for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid have bargained sold and delivered a certain parcel of land containig acres he? the same more of less lying on the north side of the Stone mountain in said Lee county and bounded as follows To wit Beginning on a poplar and sourwood on Elys creek then north 35 deg E 110 poles 2 white oaks mear said Creek on Ledford cornor S 45 deg W 150 poles to a large Black oak and Gum on a hillside with said Ledfords line S 52 deg E 160 poles to a white oak Gum ans sourwood on a wetweather branch N 67 deg E 117 poles. Then running with George Napiers line that was conveyed by John Cole to said Napper to the beginning. To have and to hold the said onehundred acres of land with all its appurtinances to the sole use of them the said Leory Kirk and Michael Cole and the said Benjamin Dickinson and his heirs doth convenant with the said Leroy Kirk and Michael Cole and their heirs the said one hundred acres of land will forever warrant and defend against the claim or claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness wherof the said Benjamin Dickinson hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
