I Pearl Castle will 1/2 of the farm & my part of the furniture to Bradley J. Castle to hold as long as he lives. And then put the farm up for sale to the highest bidder. If any of the children want to keep the farm, then can bit it in. I want Brenda Keck Reed to share as one of the children. If Brad should remarry, I want the farm & what I possess to be sold then & divided equal. If I should have any money after my Dr. Bill & hospital bill is paid & I have been given a decent burial to be divided with the children & Brenda. If anything should happen to Helen before it is settled up I want Linda Jo Akers to get Helen's share. Give my mother's picture to Helen Akers if she is living and if she is not give it to Brenda Reed. Give my clothes to Alyce Tomlinson Bowen. Give my black wool stole to Dorothy Keck. I want Darryl Castle to have W. D's picture. Give the small Bible to Bradley for he gave it to us. I want Hubert Castle & W. D. Castle to see that this will is carried out just as I want it to be. She married Bradley John Castle (1892-1979) on 14 October 1916 at Lee County, Virginia. Brad and Pearl had seven children: James Bradley Castle, Helen Pauline Castle Akers, William D. Castle, Dorothy Elizabeth Castle Keck Bacon Harmon, Hubert Earl Castle, John Albert Castle, and Willa Mae Castle Johnson. She named her granddaughter, Brenda Helen Keck Reed, daughter of Dorothy Castle Keck Harmon, as one of her heirs.
