It is now on the grounds of Brambleton Regional Park on Ryan Road. This is an old abandoned cemetery that has been cleaned up by the Park Authority. Some markers are missing, some are not in their proper location. Markers that are still readable include the following: HAWES, Martha S. wife of William H. Hawes Born April 9, 1854 Died Feb 20, 1902 Sleep in Jesus, Blessed Sleep from which none ever wakes to weep HAVENER, Lydia D. wife of W.A. Havener Died July 8, 1878, Aged 41 years and her mother EDWARDS, Elizabeth Died Sept. 7, 1864, Aged 54 years Peace and Love From Willie EDWARDS, Mary Wife of Joseph L. Edwards Born Aug 27, 1822 Died May 3, 1883 MORAN, Margaret Ann wife of John W. Moran Born Feb 12, 1840 Died July 25, 1890 BURDINE, Olivia J. wife of Isaiah Burdine b. 12 Feb 1828 d. 12 Feb 1890 LYON, Catherine B. Died May 12, 1903 Aged 87 years Rest in Peace SHRYOCK, George E. b. 10 Jan 1810 d. 08 Jann 1907 May he rest in peace SHRYOCK, Rebecca J. Wife of Geo. E. Shryock Died July 20, 1896 Aged 65 years Blessed are the pure in heart For they shall see God. LYON, Jane Died Oct 29, 1880 Aged 89 LYON, H. M. Died March 18th, 1870 Age 49 Infant Son Died Dec 24, 1865 Child of Geo. E. & Rebecca J. Shryock SHRYOCK, Benjamin F. Died Feb 2, 1853 SHRYOCK, Joseph W. Died Dec 1862 Age 1 SHRYOCK, John W. Died Jan 3, 1850 SHRYOCK, George H. Died Dec 27, 1862 A LYON Died Aug 3, 1863 Age 83 LYON, John M. Died Oct 5, 1893 Aged 12 yrs There are several graves marked only with fieldstones. One of which may contain the remains of Richard Y. (Dick) Moran, civil war veteran of the 43rd Virginia Cavalry who saved the day for John Mosby in the fight at Miskel's Farm. The unmarked grave of William H. Hawes is believed to be next to that of his wife Martha Susan.
