MRS. ELIZABETH GEORGE

Mrs. Elizabeth Ropp Lakin George died Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. R.N.
Lanham in Lovettsville, 
Va. after an illness of several weeks of complications.  She was widely known here
where she resided a 
number of years ago when her first husband, Daniel T. Lakin was superintendent of
Frederick count 
schools and later first cashier of the Citizens National Bank.  Following his death
she married Mr. George 
of Loudoun county, Va., who died a number of years ago.  Until several weeks ago
when she moved to 
Lovettsville.  Mrs. George had been residing at the family home in Loudon county. 
She was the last 
member of her family.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two
o’clock from the Lutheran 
church in Lovettsville.  Interment in Lovettsville.
