Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Clara Lowe White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beve White; one daughter, Ruth White; two sons, Andrew White and Burton White; one brother, Alfred Lowe; and three grandchildren, James White, Johnny Blankenship and Donna Blankenship. Mrs. White is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lula Ellis and husband Rev. Robert Ellis of Wauchula, Fla., Mrs. Bonnie Blankenship and husband Vester of Jewell Ridge, Va., Mrs. Betty Sommers and husband Arthur of Front Royal, Va., and Mrs. Mildred Rodgers and husband Walter of Citra, Fla.; five sons, Mr. Lloyd White and wife Judy of Summersville, W.Va., Mr. Wallace White and wife Judy of White Springs, Fla., Mr. Erwin White and wife Susan of Dunnellon, Fla., Mr. Ronald Lee White and wife Wanda of Vale, N.C., and Mr. Carl White of Reddick, Fla.; and one brother, Fred Lowe of Ridgeville, Ohio; 35 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2003, in the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff with Rev. Joe Gross and Rev. Billy Ray Hicks officiating. Graveside services will be conducted noon Tuesday, April 1, 2003, in the Sterling Cemetery at Sterling, Va.
