In the name of God Amen whereas I John Dulin of the County of Loudoun and state 
of Virginia am weak of body but perfectly strong in memory and recollection doth 
make and constitute this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all 
others heretofore made Item 1st My will is that my funeral expenses and all my 
just debts shall be first paid. Item 2nd It is also my will from the love and 
affection which I bear my wife Rebecca that she should have all the property 
that I die possessed of both personal and real to sell make deeds or other 
conveyances also the expectation of property namely at the death of my mother in 
Kentucky to have and to hold all the above named property and then to will it to 
our children as she may think best. Witness my hand and seal this the twentyeth 
day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty 
seven.

This is to be admitted to record without security - At a court held for Loudoun 
County Nov. 10th 1828 - A paper purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of 
John Dulin decd. was presented to the Court and proved by the Oaths of John 
Havenner and Barbara Havenner two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and 
ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Newton Keene who made Oath as admin. 
and who thereupon together with B. Bridges and S. M. Bos his securities entered 
into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of three thousand dollars 
conditioned as the law directs. Certificate is granted him for obtaining a 
probate thereof in due form.
