The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ******************************************************************************** Will of Sarah Clawson FURR signed 18 Apr 1846 found in Loudoun Co., VA ********* "Be it remembered and made known to all whom it may concern that I Sarah Furr widow of Enoch Furr late of Loudoun County in Virginia deceased now taking into consideration that I am old and may soon die being now blessed with a degree of health and vigour of mind which enables me to act understandingly do this 18th day of April 1846 make publish and declare the following as my last will and testament. First, it is my will and desire that so much of my personal estate as may be necessary to pay my just debts and funeral expenses be sold and those debts and expenses paid by my executor hereinafter named, Secondly, I give my grey mare to my son William Gilmore Furr he having her already in possession. Thirdly, I give to my Granddaughter Desdemona Furr daughter of my son Jeremiah C Furr fifty dollars to be raised in such a manner as my executor may feel most convenient. Fourth I, I give all the residue of estate whether real personal or mixed of which I may die possessed to my friend Dr. Frank Grady in trust for my beloved daughter Elizabeth Thomas and hope she may secure the land which was intended for her so as to have it in her power to raise her children in a proper manner and give them a sufficiency of school learning. Lastly, I constitute and appoint my son William Gilmore Furr the Executor of this my last will and testament.
