I leave my body to be intered at the discretion of my Executors my soul I recommend to God who gave it hoping a happy resurrection in the Coming day as to the Estate God has been pleased to give me I bequeath in the following manner. I give unto my beloved wife Mary the Sum of two hundred dollars together with all she brought to my house which our marriage Covenant will specify as recorded in the County Court of Loudoun. As to the horse and cow she brought she is to have her choice of each out of my stock. As to the rest of my Estate I give and bequeath it in manner and form following. Which is to say I give unto my son Abner Humphrey the sum of seven hundred Dollars. Likewise I give unto my son Jesse Humphreys Children the sum of Seven hundred Dollars jointly which is to say Letty, Rachel, Martha, Mary, Thomas and Morris letes part to be given to his children by my Executors. Also I give into my daughter Uree West Dec'd. Children the sum of Eight hundred Dollars jointly not knowing there names. Likewise I give unto my daughter Hannah Leedom the sum of Eight hundred Dollars likewise I give unto my daughter Effee Youngs Children the sum of Eight hundred Dollars jointly. Likewise I give unto my daughter Martha Crow the sum of nine hundred Dollars likewise I give unto my daughter Tracy Daniel the sum of nine hundred Dollars. I give unto the Children of daughter Mary Osburn the sum of eight hundred dollars. Also I give unto my daughter Nancy Johnson the sum of Nine hundred Dollars and my son Jonah Humphrey the sum of Nine hundred Dollars. Also my son Marcus Humphrey I give the sum of Nine hundred Dollars, after deducting out what I have in bonds and notes against him. I give unto my grandson Thomas Humphrey son of Jacob the sum of two hundred Dollars and I give unto my daughter in law Margaret Humphrey and her two daughters to wit Uree and Mary Ann the jointly one half of a bond I have against the Estate of 200 and seventy nine pounds. That when the one half of that bond is paid to my Executors the bond Shall be given up to the administrators of Charles Humphrey dec'd. otherwise to stand in full force against his Estate to enable my Executors to pay the sums herein Specified. My will is that all my Estate is to be sold. All my land and Negros and goods and chattels except Chany and Silver Spoons which is to be divided between my Daughters then living. Further my will is that all the Balance of my Estate shall be equally divided between Abner Humphrey, Martha Crow, Tacy Daniel, Nancy Young and Jonah Humphrey. This is my last will on this first day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and twenty two.
