Mallory and Martha Jane Mallory, his wife, William S. Parrish and Nancy A. Parrish, his wife of Fluvana Co. of the one part and Samuel L. Diggs of Louisa Co. of the other part, all of the State of Virginia for $900 to them in hand paid, bargained, sold and conveyed all the interest in the dower of Betsy P. Diggs, decd., lying in County of Louisa on both sides of the three chopped road, the tract containing 182 1/2 acres and bounded by lands of Thomas Diggs, Elizabeth Weldy and William Reynolds. Affirmed by John Johnson, Justice of the Peace in Fluvanna Co. on 31 December 1857. Acknowledged 19 September 1861 before Benj. M. Francisco, J. NOTE: This tract of land is the land John Diggs purchased from Thomas Diggs 9 April 1830. THIS DEED PROVES THE RELATIONSHIP OF THESE INDIVIDUALS. NATHANIEL, MARTHA AND NANCY WERE BROTHER AND SISTERS TO SAMUEL. THEY, WITH THEIR SPOUSES, EXECUTED THIS DEED TO THE YOUNGEST BROTHER, SAMUEL.
