Foushes which certifies that Thomson Davis had wounds around the head that were dangerous. (Very small writing, hard to read and see) 2nd May 1788 I do certify that Thompson Davis was a soldier in Baylor's and was wounded in August 17 at the supprize of the regt. in the foray. Wm. Barret July 11 1786 I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Thompson Davis of Louisa, aged about 40 years, late a private in the 3rd Regiment of Light Dragoons, appears to have been disabled in such a manner while in the service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of fifteen pounds yearly; which allowance is accordingly made him, to commence from the first day of January 1786.
