It is my desire that all my Just debts should be paid. I give to my Mother during her life ten Barrells of corn and five hundred weight of pork anualy. I give to my Sister Elizabeth Dabney Two hundred dollars I give to my Sister Mildred two hundred dollars. I appoint Charles Dabney Jr my Executor. It is my wish after he pays all my Just debts and the above mentioned legacies that he shall have the balance of my estate John M. Price Donald King Witness Robt L Dabney James P. Hope, James G Grubbs John Austin At a Court held for Louisa County on Monday the 14th day of December 1818. A writing purporting to be the last Will & Testament of Robert L Dabney decd was this day exhibited in open court & proved by the oaths of James P. Hope & James G Grubbs subscribing witness thereto and by the Court ordered to be recorded. And at a Court held for Louisa County on Monday the 11th day of January 1819 On the motion of Charles Dabney Jr the only Executor named in the will, who made oath according to Law a certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form he having together with John M. Price his security entered into & acknowledged Bond in the penalty of Five thousand dollars conditioned according to law. Teste
