The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************ Deed Book 9, 1763-1765 p. 117 Lunenburg Co., Virginia Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Worthy of Lunenburgh County planter for divers good causes and reasons wetherunto moving but more especially in respect to the love and affection I bare to my son Thomas Worthy Jun. in regard of his duty and obedience to me have given granted and bestowed and do by these presents give grant and bestow to my said son Thomas Worthy Jun. four hundred and ninety four acres of land lying in Lunenburgh County on the North side of Stanton River the Patent baring date January 12th one thousand seven hundred forty six joining the land of Joseph Morton and two feather beds and furniture, two sows and piggs, three cows and calves and one mare with all the buildings, edifices, gardens, orchards and all other profitts rights and Testes and Emoluments thereto belonging or in any wise apertaining to the said tract or parcel of land and primises to his own proper use and behoof forever and I do hearby these presents warrant and defend the said land to my son Thomas Worthy from all claimes rightes or titles interests properties dowers and all other incombrances whatsoever as witness my hand seal this 10th day of May 1763.
