Page 553 - LUNENBURG COUNTY, VA - 22 NOVEMBER 1875

This Deed made this the 22nd day of November 1875 between Nathan Gee & Frances M. 
his wife, Wm. J. Walthall & Martha J., his wife, Henry M. Gee & Emma J. his wife 
and Martha J. Gee of the first and Silas J. Drake of the second part.  Witnesseth:  
That for and in consideration of the sum of $200. - in hand paid by the said party 
of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said party 
of the first part: the said party of the first part doth give, grant, bargain and 
sell unto the said party of the second part, all of a certain parcel or tract of 
land, lying and being in the County of Lunenburg on the Waters of Bears Element 
Creek, between Old Cox Road and the Lunenburg Plank Road, and bounded by the lands 
of Peter Morton & others.  Supposed to contain fifteen or twenty acres, be the same 
more or less, to have and to hold to him & his heirs forever.  And the said party 
of the first part doth warrant generally the title to the land hereby conveyed.
