John Parker - 400 acres - LUNENBURG CO VA:

George the Second ye To All Ye Know Ye that for divers good causes and 
Considerations but more especially for Consideration of the Sum of Forty 
Shillings of Good and lawful money for our use Paid to our Receiver General of 
our Revenues in this our Colony and Dominion of Virginia We have Given granted 
confirmed by these presents for us our heirs and successors DO give grant 
confirm unto John Parker one certain Tract or Parcel of land containing four 
hundred acres lying and being in the County of Lunenburgh on the Upper side of 
Stoney Creek bounded as followeth (to wit) Beginning at a red oak on the Creek 
on John Howell's line Thence north eighty seven degrees East ?sixty poles to a 
red oak Thence on his old line South ten degrees West Seventy eight poles to a 
white oak Thence south fifty degrees East twenty poles to Pointers Thence on 
Thomas Knight South forty five degrees East two hundred fifty eight poles to a 
red oak Thence New Lines North thirty five degrees West three hundred twenty 
poles to a red oak Thence North thirty degrees West three hundred thirty poles 
to a red oak Thence north thirty degrees East one hundred six poles to a white 
oak on the Creek and thence down the Creek as it measures to the first Station. 
With all ye To Have hold ye To be held ye Yielding & Paying ye Provided ye In 
Witness ye Witness our Trusty Wellbeloved Francis Fauquier Esquire our 
Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of our said Colony & Dominion 
Williamsburgh under the Seal of our said Colony the twelfth day of May one 
thousand seven hundred fifty nine In the thirty second year our Reign. -
