Mark Laffoon's will is as follows:
         I

"I, Mark Laffoon, in the State of Kentucky and Henderson County, Planter, being
very sick, weak in body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be God and
calling to mind that it is appointed for all man wonst to die, do make this my
last will and Testament - First of all, I recolcaend my soul to God that give
it, and my body to be buried a decent Christian manner, at the dis-cretion of
my Executors, doubting nothing but at the general resurrection I shall receive
the same again.

"Secondly, I.give and bequeath to my wife Sally Laffoon, all my household
good.-, my lands and persishable property during the term of her widowhood,
unless the children should come of age or marry in the tilne of her i;id@ihood,
then the property to be equally divided and she to hare her third, or if she
should marry, then the property to be divided and she the third, and I do
hereby appoint, constitute and ordain my trusty friends, John and Ebenezer
Bourland, my executors and I do hereby disown all wills or bequeaths whatever,
irhercunto I have set my hand and seal this 13th day of May, 1806.
