Persons or organizations desiring to use this material, must obtain the written consent of the contributor, or the legal representative of the submitter, and contact the listed USGenWeb archivist with proof of this consent. ************************************************************************ IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I CHARLES GEE of the County of Sussex being sick and weak of body but of sound sense and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same therefore calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die I do make and order this to be my last will and Testament in manner and for as followeth First and principally I recommend my immortal soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it me hoping through the merits of my blessed redeemer to inherite life everlasting and as to my mortal body I commit it to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried at the discrestion of my fellow creatures first my will is that my just debs be paid Secondly I leave my worldly Estate as followeth &c ITEM I give unto my Son BENJAMIN GEE the plantation he now lives on in Lunenburg County with two hundred and sixty four acres of land there to belonging to him and his heirs and assigns for ever. ITEM I give unto my Son JESSE GEE my plantation wheron I now live with four hundred and twenty five acres of land therto belonging to him his heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I leave my stock of cattle to be equally divided between my two sons JOHN GEE and JESSE GEE to them and their heirs forever. ITEM I leave my stock of cattle to be equally divided between my two sons JOHN GEE and JESSE GEE to them and their heirs forever. ITEM I leave all my Negores to be sold by my Executors together with all the residue & remainder of my Estate of what kind or quallity so ever it be and the money therefrom arising to be equally divided amongst all my children to wit JAMES GEE, CHARLES GEE, WILLIAM GEE, HENRY GEE, BENJAMIN GEE, JOHN GEE, NEVEL GEE, JESSE GEE, ELIZABETH BANNER, PENELOPE HEETH to them and their heirs and assigns for ever my will and desire is that my Estate may not be appraised. Lastly I constitute and appoint my two sons BENJ. GEE, & HENRY GEE Executors of this my last will and Testament.
