Christian Cemetery Location: 1400 Block Bedford Ave. Between Dinwiddie St. and McDonald St. Cemetery covers the whole 1400 block. Lynchburg, Virginia DATE: This cemetery is only about 30 years old (1937). Only Catholics buried in this cemetery, up until that time Catholics were buried in other cemeterys in Lynchburg, Va. The bodies that are in the Holy Cross Cemetery were brought here from other places, most of them were cremated in Ireland and their ashes brought over here and buried.
