Christian Cemetery Location: Back of Randolph Mason Woman’s College, on Rivermont Ave. Lynchburg, Virginia DATE: 1850. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: This is a very old cemetery and is seldom used now for burials. Shrubbery, trees and weeds have about taken the place and most of the graves have sunken from one to three feet in depth. Very few of the graces at this time receive any care. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: This was to begin with a private graveyard. The Baptist have a small cemetery located outside of the City limits.
