Tunison Cemetery Location: 200 yards north of Radiant P.O. Virginia, on Route #16, to site on the hill. (Private entrance opposite the store). Madison County, Virginia DATE: Unknown. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: This old graveyard is located to the north of the house on a hill with large trees growing all over it, even some on the graves. There are about 30 graves without any inscriptions. The markers are common native rocks. If there ever was a fence around this place, there is no sign at present. The slave graveyard is to the northeast and today is being cultivated over, it is said. This was quite large, possibly 40 graves.
