Tunison Cemetery Location: 300 yards north of Locust Dale Postoffice, Virginia, on Route #15. Madison County, Virginia DATE: Unknown. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: There is a very large old graveyard, on the place, back of the house. There are no inscriptions to the graves. It is believed that some of the Willis family were buried here. There is, also, another graveyard back on the farm that is supposed to be Col. James Twyman’s slaves. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: None.
