ON the Old Noel May farm which is west of Graves Mills in the area of 
Buzzard Rocks & Schoolhouse hill areas in the southwest part of Madison 
County lies an old forgotten family Graveyard on a proprty that was once owned  
By The May family then later on by Estes family. I think it was known as Estes 
Graveyard though it was deeded for the May family to use back in the 1850/60's.
 
Three burials I know are here include: (and I will give all the info I have)
 
1) Noel May , b. abt 1792/1793 Orange Co,Va., died  1866. 
He was the son of Thomas & Anna (Hyate) May.
 
2) Aleavy (Eddins) May,  b. abt 1795 Va, died   bet. 1860-1863., 
daughter of Theophilus & Dorothy ( Kirtley) Eddins.
 
3) William May, son of Noel & Sarah (Collins) May, b. bet 1863-1866. 
Sarah was Noel's 2nd wife whom he married in 1863. William may have died young.
