Tunison Cemetery Location: ¾ mile southwest of Twyman’s Mill Post Office, on Route #618; thence south on Route #622, ¾ mile, entrance directly on east side of Route #622; thence north of residence to graveyard ¼ mile. Madison County, Virginia DATE: Unknown. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: This contains about thirty graves, none of which have markers, only stones of plain rock placed at the head and foot, without inscriptions. The Twyman family graveyard is located one mile north of the Twyman Mills, Post Office, on Dr. E. B. Twyman’s plantation. The Twyman family from this place were buried there.
