On the fourth day of October 1774 he received wounds for which he has ___ he has been informed. Placed on the pensions list and the said Estill further states that the said Baker is yet living and laboring under said wounds, given under my hand and seal this 6th day of April Green Clay Satisfactory proof being produced. This court doth certify to his Excellancy James Barbor ESQ governor of Virginia. That Thomas Baker Sr was wounded at the battle fought in Ohio at the mouth of the Kanaway in the year 1774 under the command of Andrew Lewis in ___? moves expedition by which he was disabled to provide the means of ordinary sustanance, by reason whereof he was entitled to a pension of ten pounds from the state of Virginia. This court doth further certify that Thomas Baker is a _____ of Estill County and state of Kentucky, and by reason of his disability is in indigant situation ---- Given under our hands and seals this 17th day of August 1812 Jones Woy A Copy Teste ____ Cobbe Robert Clark John Parker I do, with the advice of council, hereby certify that Thomas Baker is continued on the list of pensioners with his former allowance, commencing on the first day of January seventeen hundred and eighty six.
