Witnesseth that the said William Douglass and Martha his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of three hundred and twenty five pounds current money to them in hand paid. Have given, granted, bargained and sold and by these presents Do give, grant, bargain and sell unto the said Thomas Booth and his heirs one certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County aforesaid on both sides of Great Creek containing five hundred acres, more or less and bounded according to the most known antisent? & reputed bounds thereof to which said tract of land the said William Douglass became entitled by virture of a Deed made to him by Miles Gathright & Elizabeth his wife of the County of New Kent and the said Miles Gathright purchased the same of Jeremiah Russell as by the deed recorded in the Court of the County aforesaid will appear together with all houses, gardens, Orchards, wood way & water and water courses and the mill with its appertances. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land and mill with their Appertances to him the said Thomas Booth & his heirs to the only use & behoof him the said Thomas Booth his heirs and assigns forever And the said William Douglas for himself -- his heirs, Execors and Administrators the said tract or parcel of Land & will with their appertances to him the said Thomas Booth his heirs and assigns shall & will forever warrant & defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said William Douglass and Martha have hereunto set their hands & seals on the Day and year above written. Witnesseth that the said John Bozeman and Anne his Wife for and in consideration of Three Hundred and seventy five pounds Current money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Booth the receipt whereof the said John Bozeman Senior himself doth hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained, sold and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Thomas Booth one Certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County aforesaid, it being part of two surveys and containing by estimation Two Hundred Ninety four acres be the same more or less and is bounded as followeth (to wit). Beginning at a white hickory on Stephen Jones'es line thence along the said Jones line to Frederick Rainey's line thence along the said Frederick Rainey's line to the above mentioned Creek to Francis Rainey's Corner, thence along the said Francis Rainey's line to John Lambert's Corner pine thence along the said Lambert's line to a scrub white oak on Alexander Donalds line thence along the said Donald's line to the said Creek at a corner white oak thence up the said creek to the first mentioned hickory for Complement. To have to hold the said land and premises together with all Houses, Orchards, fences, woods, ways, water and water courses thereon being standing or growing unto the said Thomas Booth and to his Heirs, assigns for ever and the said John Boazman Sen doth for himself and his heirs forever Warrant the said land and premises unto the said Thomas Booth and to his heirs and assigns for ever from any person or persons laying any claim, right or title thereto free and clear from all incumbrances, Whatsoever. Witnesseth that the said John Muscheon for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred pounds current money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Booth the receipt whereof the said John Muscheon sen himself doth hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained & sold and by these presents do give, grant, bargain and sell and confirm unto the said Thomas Booth one certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being on both sides of the north or lower fork of the great Creek in the county aforesaid, it being part of the land the said John Muscheon now lives on and containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less and bounded as followth (to wit) Beginning at the mouth of the said Muscheons spring branch thence up the said branch to a new line thence along the said new line to John Douglas's line thence along the said John Douglas's line to the above mentioned Thomas Booth's line thence along the said line to the above Creek thence up the said creek as it meanders to the mouth of the said spring branch for complement., To Have and to hold the said land and premises together with all houses, orchards, fences, woods, ways, water, and water courses, thereon being standing or growing unto the said Thomas Booth and to his heirs or assigns for ever and the said John Muncheon sen doth for himself , his heirs and assigns forever warrant and forever defend the said land and premises unto the said Thomas Booth and to his heirs and assigns forever from any persons laying any claims, right or title thereto, free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever.
