DONALD WAYNE PRESSON

  BOYDTON - Donald Wayne Presson, 3, was killed instantly Friday night, 
November 25, near Clarksville in an automobile accident.

   Donald, son of C. Waverly Presson and Mrs. Lucy Hatchell Presson, had 
just attended the Christmas parade in Clarksville with his parents and 
talked to Santa Claus about 15 minutes before the fatal accident.

   Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Joan Presson, and a 
brother, C. Waverly Presson, Jr., both of Boydton, a half-sister, Mrs. 
Arthur Owens of Suffolk, and his paternal grandfather, John C. Presson of 
Franklin.

   A funeral service was conducted Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Bing Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Cassell, pastor of the Boydton Methodist Church and the 
Rev. Alfriend, pastor of the Episcopal Church.  Burial was in the family 
plot here.
