H.T. WILLIAMS DIES HERE; CHASE CITY PASTOR 43 YEARS    The Rev. H.T. Williams Sr., 79, for 43 years pastor of the Chase City Baptist Church, died Thursday at Johnson-Willis Hospital.    An illness of little more than a month brought to an end his tenure of service with the Chase City Baptist Church, the second longest held by a pastor in the Virginia Baptist Association.  He was stricken ill on August 2, while visiting his son, H.T. Williams, Jr., in this city, and for the past three weeks had been confined to the hospital.    He had completed his forty-third year as pastor of the church on September 1, this year.  Only one other pastor, the Rev. H.F. Winfree, pastor of Winfree Memorial Baptist Church in Chesterfield County for 51 years, has served for a longer time.    The Rev. Williams long had been active in the educational work carried on by the Baptist church and for more than 30 years had served on the Virginia Baptist Board of Missions and Education.    He was born in Gates County, N.C., November 19, 1860, a son of Elisha and Mary Taylor Williams.  He was graduated from Wake Forest College and was ordained in 1887.  Before taking over the Chase City pastorate, he occupied pastorates at Ahoskie, Seaboard and Roxboro, N.C.    He is survived by three sons, R.E. Williams of Raleigh, N.C., H.T. Williams Jr., Richmond, and C.V. Williams of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Dr. Horace Williams of Chapel Hill, N.C., and P.C. Williams of Hickory, N.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Blackwell Smith and Mrs. Sue Applewhite, both of Capron.    Funeral services will be held at Chase City at a time to be announced later. [Rev.
