Persons or organizations desiring to use this material, must obtain the written consent of the contributor, or the legal representative of the submitter, and contact the listed USGenWeb archivist with proof of this consent. ****************************************************************** In the name of God Amen I Ambrose Gregory of the county of Mecklenburg and State of Virginia being at this time of sound mind and memory do make, constitute, and appoint this my last will and testament, in manner and form as follows To Wit I leave give devise and bequeath to my wife Sarah Gregory one half of my real and personal property to be enjoyed by her without impeachment of [illegible word] during her natural life or widowhood. - and after her death or marriage I desire and bequeath the same to the use of my son Atha Gregory and his heirs forever. -- I desire and bequeath all the rest and residue of my property both real and personal of which I now am seizd and posses'd or of which I may be seizd and posses'd or have a title to at the time of my death including all debts which at that time may be due to me to the use and behoof of my son Atha Gregory and his heirs forever hereby totally excluding my daughter from claiming any share of the same. - having allotted to her and her husband Stephen P.Pool in my lifetime one half of my estate. I Hereby constitute my son Atha Gregory and my friend and relation John Gregory son of Richard Gregory and John Gregory son of son of Joseph Gregory Executors of this my last will and Testament and in the event of my Son Atha qualifying as an Executor it is my wish that he should not be held to give security for the discharge of his duties as executor as aforesaid and hereby revoking every former will and testament published and Executed by me.
