In the name of God, Amen. I George Farrar of Mecklenburg County and State of Virginia being sick of body but of sound mind and calling to remembrance that all flesh must age when it shall please God to call him do make and ordain this my last will and testament revocing all and every will by me heretofore made, in manner and form following. Item. I give unto my beloved wife the tract of land whereon I now live to her during her life and at the death of my wife to be sold upon four years wait and the money arising from sale to be equally divided between all my children except Sally Baugh to them and their heirs forward. Item. My will and desire is that my wife should have one third part of my estate that is to say of Negroes, horses, cattle, sheep, and hogs including all and everything I now have in possession except the present crop now made I give unto her forward and the death of my wife my will and desire is for it to be equally divided among all my children except Sally Baugh and my will and desire is for her to receive the sum of eight shillings as her full proportion of her legacy of my estate. My will and desire is that Thos. Farrar, Betsy Whittemore, Patsy Johnson, and the heirs of my son Hilmond Farrar should when receiving their legacy of the property that will be sold after wife has tacen her demise should return eighty dollars apiece for the benefit of my children who now live with me that is to say Ann Farrar, Judy, Beccy, Alexander and Arthur, if the sale should amount to as much apiece after my wife has her thirds of land of if not the (can't make out the word) to made up at the death of my wife and lastly I appoint my friends William and Charles Baskerville of this last will and testament this being 7th of February 1819.
