These electronic pages CANNOT be reproduced in any format for profit or other presentation.- In the name of God Amen, I Larkin WHITE of the County of Mecklenburg and State of Virginia being in a low state of health at this time but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God for the same calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is our appointed for all men to died. I do make and ordain this my last will and Testament that is to say, principally and first of all, I recommend my soul in the hands of almighty God and hope for salvation to be buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter named nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the almighty power and as touching such worldly estate, wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life with and I give demised and dispose of the same in the following manner and yon viz. Item, My wish and desire is that all my just debts shall  be first paid, ___ from my the sale of my crop now growing and also my sock of horses except four such as the executors may think most proper to be kept for the use of my estate also twenty head of cattle, my desk & beaufat Item.  I lend unto my beloved Elener WHITE during her widowhood the whole residue of my estate but in case of her intermarriage or at her death, the whole of her proportional part being he one sixth, to revert back and be equally divided between my children namely Nancy Howard WHITE, Samuel Dedman WHITE, William Henry WHITE, Mary Ann WHITE and Larkin WHITE. Item. my wish and desire is that whenever or as soon as my daughters Nancy Howard WHITE and Mary Ann HWITE, shall arrive at the age of fifteen years and my sons Samuel Dedman WHTIE, William Henry WHITE and Larkin WHITE to the age of twenty years they shall then be entitled to receive their proportional part of my estate by ________ of the said property. Item and last of all I do constitute and appoint Henry H. DEDMAN, James KINDRICK, Francis HESTER, Abraham KEEN and Thomas A. DOBBINS Francis DEDMAN Robert HARRIFS At a court held for Mecklenburg County the oath day of October 1803.  This will was proved by the oaths of William BUCHELL, Francis DEDMAN, and Robert HARRIFS witnesses there to and assured to be recorded and on the motion of Henry H. DEDMAN on of the executors therein named who made oath thereto and together with Frances MOODY, John DEDMAN and Robert Harris his securities entered into and acknowledged their bonds in the penalty of  ten thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs certificate was granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form, liberty being reserved for the other executors therein named to join in the probate when they shall think fit.
