In the name of God Amen I Ann Maynard of the county of Mecklenburg and
State of Virginia being in perfect mind and memory and knowing that it
is appointed for all people once to die do make and ordain this my last
will and Testament in manner and form following to wit,

Imprimus  I give and bequeath to my brother Wagstaff Maynard and his
heirs forever on negro by the name of little Tim.

I lend to my Sister Mary Winn during her natural life one negro Girl by
the name of Cary and at my Sisters death I give and bequeath the said
negro girl Cary and all her increase to my said Sister Mary Winns heirs
forever.

I give and bequeath to my Sister Judith Gill and her heirs forever one
negro man by the name of Waggoner Jim.

I give and bequeath to my Sister Frances Bedford and her heirs forever
one negro boy by the name of Nelson.

Lastly all the residue of my Estate i give and bequeath to my brother
John Maynard & Sister Prudence Maynard and their heirs forever to be
Equally divided between them and I appoint my Brother John Maynard
Executor to this my last will and testament.

In testimony thereof I have hereunto Subscribed my name this thirteenth
day of April in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and
ninety Seven.
