Written: June 26, 1809

Know all men by these presents that we Edward Ware and Samuel Montague are 
held and firmly bound unto Samuel Ware, in the just and full sum of seven 
thousand so the payment whereof will and truly be made to the said Samuel 
Ware, his heirs Exors?? Admors?? or Assigns, we bind ourselves jointly and 
severally firmly by these presentssealed with our seals and dated this 26th 
day of June 1809.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above name 
Samuel Ware, became security for the Worshipfull court of Middlesex Co. for 
the said Edward Ware, for his adminstration of the estate of Robert Ware decd. 
in a bond in the penalty of it therefore the said Edward Ware, shall fully 
comply with the conditions of the said bond, for his said adminstration so 
that the said Samuel Ware, shall not be obliged to pay or suffer anything
on account of of his said Secuityship, this obligation to be void or else 
remain in full force and virtue.

At a court held in Middlesex county at the Courthouse in the town of Urbanna, 
the 26th day of June, 1809........This bond was in open Court acknowledged by 
the obligors to thei act and deed
& ordered to be recorded....................Th. Muse

Additional Comments:
Either Edward Ware Jr. or Rev. Robert Ware was most likely the father of 
Samuel.
Roberts will of 1796, only mentions daughters, no will for Edward Jr. has been 
found to this date.
