All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Guy Potts http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00017.html#0004214 March 13, 2022, 10:51 pm Written: 1816 FamilySearch.org Deed books, 1679-1901; general indexes to deeds, 1675-1931, 1952-1975 County Clerk, Middlesex County, VA Bk 14, pg 29 Know all men by these presents that I William Dunn residing in the city of Edinburgh, father of the now deceased Walter Dunn sometime residing in Middlesex County, State of Virginia, considering that the said deceased by his last will and testament dated 28 Mar 1808 and proved at a court held in aforesaid county in Urbana 27 Jun thereafter, Did will, give and bequeath after the provision therein made for payment of his Debts and funeral expenses to me the said William Dunn his father all his Estate real and personal in fee simple forever; as the said last will and testament more trully narrates, and considering that it necessary for me to appoint and authorise a proper person to act on my behalf in regard to the matters contained in the aforesaid last will and testament of the said deceased Walter Dunn my son, and that repossing full trust and confidence in John Tayloe Esquire now or some time residing in the city of Washington District of Columbia, have therefore named, constituted and appointed, as I do by these presents nominate constitute and appoint the said John Tayloe Esquire to be my true and lawful Attorney with power of my behoof.
