Charles Son of ___ a slave belonging to Churchhill Jones, born Decr 24th 17__.

[Churchhill Jones was born in 1697. He was the son of Roger Jones and Mary 
Churchhill. He was named in the will of his mother dated 24 Jul 1743. Churchhill 
was in 1744 married to Millicent Blackburn, daughter of Captain William 
Blackburn of Middlesex Co., Va. with the consent of her widowed mother, 
Elizabeth Blackburn. He was named in a 2 July 1745 Middlesex Court Order to 
divide the slaves of Captain Wm. Blackburn as the husband of Blackburn's 
daughter Milyscent Jones. The births of three children born to Churchhill and 
Millicent Jones were recorded in Christ Church Parish Register of Middlesex 
County.]
